Interesting argument for Kyle Wellwood on there. Didn't realize how well he played and his production last year. He might just be a good fit, it's also funny how the guy continually referenced Parise as Suter's best friend, instead of saying his name.

He is probably the best fit for our needs at this point.

We had three assistants last year.

Either we need only one, or need two. As for Barr taking over the defensive, I think they would prefer to have a coach who has played defense there and not a forward.

Like Todd said, I think the staff is going to be Haviland, Stevens, and Barr again.

Anyways, I always wondered why Daneyko has never done any coaching. I guess he could be a big longshot to be the defensive coach.

Special assignment coach, he's done prospect camps and he is usually around for the preseason, I believe the problem is that he doesn't want to take a full-time position as he wants to be with his family.

we had 3 assistants last year because we had oates and robinson and deboer wanted to bring in one of his own guys. im fairly certain we'll only get one more assistant coach

His faceoff percentage was 54 last season, now that I look at it, he only took 250 faceoffs.....
